Purpose Of Role And Key ResponsibilitiesThe HR VP Americas works primarily with the HR Americas Team, the Americas Leadership Teams, and the global HR Leadership Team to develop and implement strategies and operational excellence that ensure that DeLaval is a top employer for talented people who want to grow together within the sustainable food production value chain. The HR VP Americas sets the priorities for the HR Americas team to ensure that the HR Strategy is delivered and that leaders are supported in developing their teams in ways that challenge and motivate them to succeed in delivering business strategies. The HR VP Americas has a pivotal role in supporting and developing our strong culture that embodies pride in our legacy, global scope, and sustainability within the dairy and food processing industry. Wellbeing, Recruitment, and Retention are current high priorities within the Americas.
Qualifications And ExperienceTo be successful in this role we see that you have:
Ability to build and manage dynamic and high performing remote teams
Experience from a multi-national environment
Proven track record in delivering HR processes, services and practices efficiently, creating a positive employee experience
Experience in managing business transformations and changing the ways of working internally and towards customers
Experience in HR management in North and Latin America
Ability to build a strong employer brand
Experience in developing and supporting leaders to create an engaging workplace culture for today and the future
Ability to role model DeLaval Behaviours (Set Direction, Make Things Happen, One DeLaval)
Learning agility and curiosity around new ideas
Excellent communication skills
Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills are desirable
Industrial or agriculture business background is desirable
University degree and minimum 15 years HR experience in a performance driven environment

The position is based in the US, preferably in Chicago or Kansas City with flexibility according to our global remote working guidelines. Domestic and some global travelling will be part of this position. You will report to the SVP HR, located at our head office in Stockholm, Sweden and dotted line to the Americas Cluster leader based in Chicago.
